Use it or lose it! It’s
that time of year again. For those with
Flex Spending Accounts, dollars not spent before the deadline are lost
dollars.
Have you and your family had eye exams this
year? Even if a prescription is not
needed, an annual eye health exam should be a priority. Some diseases can be detected in the eye
before anywhere else in the body. If you do require glasses for distance, have you considered prescription
sunglasses? If you wear a lined bifocal, you may want to try a progressive lens (no line bifocal). Contact lenses are also an option for many people, and are available even for those with astigmatism or those who require a bifocal correction.
If you have flex
dollars left, this is an ideal way to spend your money. A flex spending account can be used for all
these items and services including copays and deductibles.
